Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s wealthiest athletes, and the Portuguese superstar has ensured that he will never run out of money, even after he retires. Ronaldo has reportedly purchased a £7 million plot on the Portuguese Riviera, namely Quinta da Marinha, according to the Daily Mail. According to the story, Ronaldo intends to build a palace on the land and use it as a residence for his family once his career is over.

The Portuguese superstar has always proclaimed his affection for his homeland and expressed his desire to retire there. For his family and his four children, a home on the Portuguese Riviera will be ideal. Furthermore, Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, is expecting for the second time and will give birth to twins next year.

It’s not the only house that Ronaldo will have as he already owns a flat in Lisbon, and it’s no ordinary apartment. In fact, it is the most expensive flat ever sold in the city, which comes with a gym and an indoor pool.
